Finishes

Our finish shop is where the beauty of our furniture really presents itself. It takes as long (or longer) to finish our furniture as it does to build it.

Stains

The basic finish for a stained piece includes dye stain, sanding sealer (prevents knots from bleeding), light distressing for character and glazing. Two coats of lacquer are used as the last step. The final result is not only beautiful, but also personal and unique.

Latex Paint Finishes

Our paint finishes use latex paint creating a smooth finish and a variety of options. Not only good for our environment, we are able to customize colors for you. We use Benjamin Moore paints.

Rub-thru Paint Finishes

A bit more primitive in style, each piece is hand-rubbed between painting and glazing for an authentic, aged look.

Interior Finishes

We use latex paint to complete the interior of the piece.
